Media Analysis
The documentary was about a man voicing his opinion on copyright a the freedom of creativity. The film does show bias because it is his opinion against the copyright laws and how people should be able to create their own music out of others original music. There is also no bias because he is stating facts. The film has facts and statements throughout and the man who made the film also was backing up his favorite mixer "girl talk" and that shows bias.
The filmmaker uses an anecdote by telling us about "girl talk" because he is sticking up for his favorite mixer. This shows bias because it is his opinion on what "girl talk" is right or wrong. The filmmaker uses thesis to tell us about freedom of creativity and how people should be able to express themselves and not be sued or arrested for doing their thing.
My overall view on the documentary was very bias, because he filmmaker only make it about one side of the story. When there could be numerous sides of the story. he filmmaker does not show the side of Walt Disney. He didn't show the song writer's and artist's sides. There were just a lot of things he missed. There are many things wrong with this documentary. It is encouraging pirating, stealing and copyright. For the future o generations to come better laws must be enforced, to ensure safety to the population as a whole. People need to voice their opinions and not be bias and simple minded toward something so pointless.
